About
Ticketing built for Nepali nights.
Concerts, Teej celebrations, club nights, community dinners. One page per event, one code per person, and a door that works when the queue is long.
What this is
GoldenDoko Events is the ticketing arm of GoldenDoko LLC, an Ohio company that builds and runs the platforms a group of Nepali-owned businesses in the United States operate on — their sites, their ordering, their bookings, and this.
Every event here is a real night run by a real promoter. When you buy, the page you are on was built for that event, the QR that arrives is yours alone, and the person scanning it at the door is using the same system.
How a ticket works
- You buy. Card payment is handled by Stripe. GoldenDoko never sees or stores your card number.
- A QR arrives by email, usually within a minute. One code per person — if you bought four, you get four, and each admits one.
- The door scans it. Once a code is scanned it cannot be used again, so a forwarded screenshot will not get a second person in.
What we charge
Nothing, today. We are not taking a platform fee while we are proving this works, and free events are free to list — which is not a promotional period, it is how community events should be handled. Card processing is charged by Stripe at their standard rate.
Who runs it
GoldenDoko LLC, registered in Ohio. The sites themselves are designed and built by GoldenDoko Studio, the design-and-build arm, which operates as NepaliDev.
Questions about a specific night go to that event’s organiser, whose details are on the event page. Anything about the platform, a ticket that did not arrive, or ticketing your own event: contact@goldendoko.com.
